Arkansas Payroll Requirements: What Employers Need to Know in 2026

Arkansas payroll underwent a significant change in 2025 when the state moved from a graduated income tax structure to a flat rate. The flat rate for 2026 is 4.4%, applied to all taxable wages for Arkansas residents and non-residents earning income in the state.
